Graduate Preparation Program



Join us during the summer for the Graduate Preparation Program, a special four-week program designed to help you meet the challenges of studying in U.S. graduate programs in a wide variety of fields.

Enroll in this program and you will:

  • Develop the advanced language and presentation skills needed for top academic performance
  • Increase your awareness of U.S. academic culture and expectations

Who Should Apply

The Graduate Preparation Program is designed for international students who are preparing for graduate study at an American college or university. The Graduate Preparation Program meets the requirements for an F-1 student visa.

Program Features

  • Lectures and panel discussions with prestigious UW faculty and current UW students
  • Opportunities to network with other new UW graduate students
  • Social activities that include a welcome reception, campus tour, and weekly coffee hours with program staff
