International Studies Academic Year Abroad (ISAYA) Institute
The University of Washington's Jackson School of International Studies and International & English Language Programs have partnered to create the International Studies Academic Year Abroad (ISAYA) Institute. This program offers international students a high-quality academic study abroad experience, with a focus on international economies and global sustainability. ISAYA prepares tomorrow's leaders with the knowledge of global issues that they need today.
ISAYA students take a personalized mix of international studies and English language courses. Students will be placed in either the Olympic Division (intermediate English proficiency) or the Cascade Division (advanced English proficiency), based on their test scores.
