Master of Arts in Applied International Studies (MAAIS)

Offered by the UW Jackson School of International Studies, the Master of Arts in Applied International Studies is an intensive new graduate degree program designed for professionals seeking to accelerate their careers by gaining a deeper understanding of the world and the foreign affairs arena.

In this program, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Earn your graduate degree in 10 months of full-time study or two years of part-time study

Who Should Apply

The MAAIS program is intended for U.S. and international applicants who hold a bachelor's degree and have at least five years of experience in fields across the international affairs spectrum – including business, government, military and philanthropy – and beyond.
