Class Registration & Payment

Registration

Students will be sent information about when and how to register for classes and pay their tuition and fees.

You can register in two ways:

In Person

Continuum College Registration Office

4311 11th Ave. NE, Suite 100
Seattle, WA 98105-4608 (map)

In-person registration hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

By Phone

Call 206-543-2310 to register by phone. You must plan to pay by electronic check (ACH) or credit/debit card. In one to two business days, you’ll be emailed a link to your invoice and a secure payment site.

Phone registration hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Payment Options

You  have a number of options for paying your tuition and fees. Payment is due before the start of class. Some IELP programs may have specific payment requirements and deadlines.

Electronic Check (ACH)

Electronic check (ACH) is the preferred method of payment. An electronic check is an online payment method that uses the routing and account numbers of your checking or saving account. There is no fee to pay by ACH.

Credit Card or Debit Card

For credit or debit cards, we accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express only. We don’t accept Discover or any other type of credit or debit card. There is a nonrefundable 2.75% service fee when paying by card. In addition, please note:

  • If your card is from a foreign bank, make sure you can charge the full tuition amount. Some cards have daily limits. Before your registration day, be sure to notify your credit or debit card company of the amount to be charged and the date of payment.
  • If the card is from a U.S. bank, call the bank and tell them what date you plan to make payment and the amount you’ll be charging to the card.

Bank Check

Make your personal bank check payable to the University of Washington. Be sure the check has your local, U.S.-based address on it. Note: If you have just opened a bank account and deposited money with an overseas check, the bank may not release the money for 10 days.

Cash

We do not accept cash payments.

Flywire

International students can also use the Flywire online payment system. Please allow one week for the UW to receive payment.
