In this online noncredit course, you’ll learn about the strategy options for entering new markets abroad, along with the advantages, limitations and tradeoffs of each. Working in a team, you’ll apply the strategies, tactics and best practices for global marketing to real companies expanding to new foreign markets.

What You’ll Do

  • Explain the go-to-market planning process used by successful companies to systematically expand into global markets, phase by phase, with a focus on return on investment (ROI)
  • Conduct a structured analysis of the market environment in a new target market overseas across key dimensions that will affect business

Format and Schedule

This is an online course. The duration is three weeks. It includes 12 hours of synchronous instruction and 18 hours of asynchronous learning. Live class sessions are held two days a week (Monday through Friday) for two hours a day.

This course can also be  offered as an in-person, F-1 visa eligible classroom experience if you'd like.
