With advances in machine learning and deep learning algorithms, artificial intelligence has grown exponentially. AI is a driving force behind technologies such as computer vision, autonomous vehicles, drones, robotics and more. In this noncredit course, you'll get an introduction to classical AI algorithms and current trends in the AI world.

What You'll Do

  • Learn to distinguish between AI, machine learning and deep learning
  • Apply artificial neural networks to real problem-solving and develop code for an artificial neural network in Python
  • Apply A* search algorithm for pathfinding applications such as robotics
  • Develop the code for A* search algorithm to solve maze problems more efficiently
  • Learn key applications for AI algorithms

Format and Schedule

This is an in-person classroom course. The duration is two weeks. Classes meet in the mornings or afternoons, Monday through Friday, for a total of 18 hours a week. 

This course can also be adapted for online learning if you'd like.
